Splash Parks and Paddling Pools are what summers are about. The sun comes out and it is lovely to be outside. But then you need to cool down as it gets too hot for us brits. Splash parks tend to be in or near parks so its a great day out option to head to a splash park for a couple of hours, with a picnic, then head to the park for a play and an ice cream. A lot of the time these can be free or really cheap days out as a lot of splash parks are free to use. You just have to book your slot a head of time as they can get busy. They are suitable for children of all ages and if you take a couple of bath toys then it can be great fun while keeping cool.

👙The paddling pool is on the promenade and is free with no need to book.
🍦A small refreshments stall is located at the Splash entrance throughout the season.
The splash park is in the centre of amphitheater-style seating and it is suitable for children between 3 - 12years. There are water buckets, water sprays, and lots of other little sections where children can enjoy time in the water.
The Splash Pool is by the sea front so you can enjoy a retro day at the seaside with a visit to the beach, fairground rides, arcades and fish and chips. Booking is required as it gets busy, There are also numerous local shops, cafes and refreshment kiosks located on St Annes Promenade selling food and drinks. Please note that alcohol is not permitted within the Splash facility.

💦The outdoor sand and water area is themed on the local environment with seaside planting, seating areas and equipment to explore, play and experiment with. The Sand and Play area is open all year but the water is only turned on for the 6 weeks summer holiday as it costs £3k to run for those 6 weeks. Please donate on your visit to help increase this time.
💰Parkview is supported through government & Community grants and the generous donations of community partners and patrons. In the summer holidays the water is turned on within the park.

A great park area just outside of Chester on the banks of the River Dee. There is plenty of space with a big grassy picnic area to the side. The park has beautiful views of the local area, which provides a great play environment and the Aqua Park/Water Park includes a 10 feature spray facility close to a grassed picnic area.

Victoria Park is a late 19th century public park opened in 1900 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.

🩴There is a gorgeous outdoor pool on the main road into Llandudno. It has beautiful views from it and there is so much to do in the area. It is one of the largest outdoor paddling pools in Wales. It measures 116m - 21m with a max depth of 2ft.
🍦There is a pool cafe "Coach cafe & Gift Shop" selling beverages, snacks, ice creams, and children's toys right next to the pool. There are picnic benches and public toilets too.
