Splash Park Zone St Annes
Splash Park Zone St Annes

Cool down while at Lytham St Annes by visiting Fylde Council’s Splash Park by the sea within the beautiful Promenade Gardens. Splash is located within a stunning Grade II listed park famous for its distinctive rockeries, floral displays and water features.

A day at the seaside in the summer has to be one of my favourites and Lytham St Annes is a great beach and seafront. It has a lovely sandy beach with donkey rides, a pier with cafes and arcades. A Splash park and children's play area and plenty of places to get fish and chips and watch the world go by.

Splash Park Zone St Annes review
Fun for the summer

It was interesting to find out that the facility is set within a former open air paddling pool which explains the amphitheater seating for spectators. It has been designed to blend in with the sites heritage structures.

There is a fantastic range of features including spray loops, water sprays, bucket drops, water domes and a small section for paddling.

It really colourful and i found it to be clean and well maintained with everything working. Children can activate the sensor operated water jets themselves too which adds to the fun.

It is suitable for children of all abilities as it has a nice flat service with a non slip floor.

Our Opinion

I thought this was one of the best Splash Parks we have been to. It has a great selection of sprays and i love the fact it was so clean. The seating for parents was also the best id seen. There weren't any changing rooms which i always think is a shame especially when you have older children which don't want to get changed in front of people. We used the toilets to get changed which there are 3 of of and cost 40p to use.

Opening times of Splash are subject to weather conditions, cleaning and maintenance requirements.

Entry to Splash costs £1.00 per child for a single 1-hour session. Suitable for children aged 3 – 12 years.

Spectating or supervising adults are permitted free entry.
