Mad Hatter's Adventure Golf in Hartford
Great Alice in Wonderland course

You enter a magical and immersive world of Alice in Wonderland. As you travel through the classic story with each hole. Head down the rabbits hole and into Alice's world, where each of the 18 holes become “curiouser and curiouser”.

Teacups and saucers and a rather big Mad Hatters Hat

There are the famous characters to spot including the Cheshire Cat, Tweedledum & Tweedledee and a giant Alice with her legs sticking out the windows of a house which my girls thought was hilarious.

A winding stream flows out of a teapot and travels through the middle of the course. This means there are a few bridges to cross and even a tricky jump for your ball to make it over the water. Luckily, there is a net to help you to retrieve any balls that go for a swim.

We had fun playing our game, which took about an hour to complete. There are plenty of tricky shots to attempt but still suitable for all the family. There are some great photo ops too including smiling like a Cheshire Cat and hiding in a massive teacup.

Great fun with friends

It's fun, colourful and quirky. The final hole is at the Queen of Hearts Castle. Where you have to take aim and wallop your ball over the castle walls and into the courtyard to complete your game.

It's a great activity with friends or family and suitable for a wide range of ages. You can finish your game and then get a drink or snack from a cute refreshments van. Plus there are a few picnic tables where you can enjoy your own picnic at.

While at Hartford Golf Club you can also work on your golfing skills on the trackman Range or have a game on their 9 hole golf course. The course has an inviting layout suitable for all levels of golfer with a variety of tee options and USGA greens, tight lush fairways, ponds and mature woodland, that challenge the low handicapper yet also play fairly for the high handicapper.
