After our walk up Helsby Hill in Frodsham, we drove for just 3 minutes to find this fantastic tearoom . And what a find it was!

JTO Vintage & The Old Bank Tea Rooms is one of the prettiest cafes I've seen. We walked in to find a counter full of yummy looking homemade cakes. Under the glass domes were a whole host of sponge cakes and tray bakes. It was good to see there were a few gluten-free and vegan options, too.

There were plenty of tables as the cafe was actually really big with a second room towards the back. I loved how every table had a different cute salt and pepper set. Bunting, pretty crockery, and vintage metal signs filled the walls, making it a feast for the eyes. Every where you looked you spotted a new thing of interest.
Lovely gifts for sale
At the front of the cafe, there are rows of bookcases filled with items for sale. Jewellery, greeting cards, kitchen ware, gifts, and just generally gorgeous things which have been lovingly hand-made.
Vegetarian Menu
We sat down at our table and perused the menu. We hadn't realised until now that the place is 100% vegetarian. The only meat item on the menu was tuna. Even with this being the case, we still took a while to decide what to order as there was still plenty that took our fancy.
What we ordered
There was no children's menu, so my daughter and her cousin chose a jacket potato with beans each.
My sister in law also went for this option, but i was tempted by the mozzarella, pesto, and sundried tomato panini. I was very pleased with my choice as it was delicious. All the meals came with a dressed salad and a tomato relish.
This is a fantastic cafe for all but is especially good for vegetarians, vegans, and people who are gluten-free. There are plenty of options for all these dietary needs.
The two ladies serving were really friendly and welcoming, which really added to our dining experience.
I also noticed they have a room upstairs that is available to hire by the hour for crafting events and meetings.
