🚍 The bus ride is your first stamp. Climb on board a double decker bus which is filled with tinsel and Christmas decs. The driver takes you around the farm, your destination is Jingleville (just around the other side of the farm) where you hop off and your adventure continues.
🤶 Mrs Claus welcomes you to the Cine-farm to watch a video of a Christmas story about helping children at Birmingham Children's Hospital. With an extra message from Farmer Richard about how you can help even more. It's great that Lower Drayton Farm are collecting for this charity and adds that feel good factor to your visit.
BRAND NEW for 2024
🎅 Wooden Sledges. Santa has lent some sledges to Jingleville for both children and adults to have a go. Slide down the ramp, crashing into the haybails at the bottom, then line up for another go! The girls loved this new addition which is the same wooden sledge as they have outside on the farm.
🎅 The girls got to write a letter to Santa, mummy did her usual check and realised slime had made the list!. The girls posted their letters in the cute post boxes to go to the North Pole.
🎨Next up, was a really easy craft activities of making your own keepsake Christmas Decoration using sand art and filling a bag of reindeer food ready to sprinkle on the lawn on Christmas eve. Both of these are great for any age of children, as the bits are really well laid out in sunken bowls. Get a stamp for each. Don't forget to collect a carrot to leave out for Rudolph.
🧸 The stand out activity had to be making their own Teddytastic cuddly toy to take home. These are normally £19.99 each so is fantastic they are included. The girls put the stuffing inside their new toys along with a little heart. These teddies are soooo soft and there is a great selection to choose from. The girls got a pink bear and a reindeer.
You could pick what order you did your activities in and you could take your time. Nothing was rushed which i loved so the girls could take as long as they wanted on the craft.
🎅 Then the big event, meeting Santa. We did have to wait a while to see Santa. As you don't have to see Santa as a certain time i would keep an eye out on the queue and join it when it's small. You can easily do it first or last out of all the activities included.
We stepped inside his beautifully decorated grotto to be greeted by Santa's smile. The girls excitedly talked to him for a few minutes and he took his time chatting, we didn't feel rushed and Santa was great at engaging with the girls and really took an interest in their special gift requests. I got a couple of pictures and then there was an opportunity to get a professional photo taken too which you buy.
🎁 Santa gave the girls a token each. This was to swap for any toy from Santa's Workshop. Instead of receiving a wrapped toy, your child gets to see them all lined up on shelves and actually gets to choose one to take home. There was so much choice, from soft toys, craft sets, building sets, wooden and plastic toddler toys, etc. It was a fantastic concept and felt more magical than getting a random wrapped gift.
☕ In your ticket you also get a free drink. Hot chocolates for adults and milkshakes for the kids. The cafe is just outside JingleVille, with a tipi and some seating. We actually forgot to get our drinks on our visit so make sure you remember.
And the adventure doesn’t end when you leave Jingle Ville – you’ll also have access to all the usual Play@ attractions throughout the day, with its massive indoor playbarns, outdoor adventure play and friendly animals to meet.
