At Into The Wild they believe in becoming more mindful, more connected, and appreciating the world around you. Step away from technology and connect with nature.
There is no WIFI in the Forest but I promise… you will find a better connection! There actually is Wifi in the woods but its only for people working from the woods... Monday to Friday.

Wild Activity Playground
The wild activity area is great for children aged 0-11yrs.
They have a low ropes area for the older children inc a 50m zip line. Swings, mud kitchens, sand pit, climbing frames and a vintage boat swing set as well as diggers and a variety of ride on toys for the younger age group.
The 50m zip wire was a real hit with my girls, they enjoyed playing on this and the other equipment before they came out for a rest and to enjoy a pizza
You can book online before you go and collect your wrist band from the cafe shack. Your ticket is for all day so no time limit.
For ALL DAY play the prices are as follows:
0-4yrs £2
0-11yrs £4

Food & Drink

We ordered a woodfired pizza to share. There was really nice options for your toppings including ham, peperoni, wild mushroom and nduja. It was really interesting watching them being made. It was with a proper pizza oven which sat in a little tent in the woods.
There are also bacon and egg wraps and children's hot dogs available.
If you have visited purely on foot then you can even have an alcholic drink. There is beer on tap aswel as wine and spirits and mixers available. This is perfect for if you visit into the evening when there is live music playing.

Walks to Into The Wild
There are a number of different walks you can take to get to Into The woods. They are all on their website.
I have written about the route we took when parking at South Down Drive on a 1.3km route each way.

Film Tipi
Inside a large tipi is a projector showing short films. These are suitable for children and there are lots of chairs and beanbags so children can just chill out and relax while watching the shows.

Live Music
Every Saturday there is live music which goes on into the evening. There is beer available from the bar and when it gets a bit dark and colder there are fire pits that get lit. We havnt been for the live music but it sounds like quite a unique and cool experience in the woods. Tickets cost £10 pp and are pre bookable on their website.
🌟 Please note all music nights are 18+ and No Dogs allowed on these nights!
