We called in after a walk around Brereton. It was a busy little cafe full of people who had been tending to their horses but we were welcomed in too.
The staff were friendly and helpful with making sure we got a table.
The Cakes!
We had our sights on the cakes. Their counter was full of a mixture of large sponge cakes, traybakes and muffins. All homemade. After mulling over our choices for a while we choose a millionaires shortbread, chocolate orange muffin and peanut butter sponge. We ordered our drinks and took a seat.
G Gees Food
From our table i could spy the full food menu which looked great. Plenty of breakfast and lunch options including oatcakes, omelettes, paninis, jacket potatoes and ploughmans lunches.
While they do not have a separate menu as they are a small business, they do cater for vegans, vegetarians, gluten free, diary free.
Everyone is welcome on site, not just if you're there for the stables. There is seating inside in cafe and outside on a small patio. It's a very pretty cafe which has been transformed from a farm building with old features.
It really is a great little cafe and worth a visit. I'll be back for lunch very soon.
