At Dino Falls Adventure Golf you can enjoy a day out with extra bite, challenge yourself to a round of action-packed adventure golf!
It was my husband's birthday and we were after a fun, family friendly activity. So the fact that Dino Falls had a year round offer of "Birthday person plays FREE" we thought that was a perfect excuse for a round of adventure golf. Nothing like some competitive golf to work up an appetite for birthday cake.

Dino Fall Adventure Golf is part of The Trafford Golf Centre outside the Trafford Centre in Manchester. It is one of the cool activities that surround the Trafford Centre along with Chill Factor and Play Factore.
It is no secret that i like Dinosaurs. And Dino Falls is full of them. Not just little ones either but massive 10 foot Dinosaurs.
There are two intertwining courses, both having 18 holes, Rapids and Volcano. We chose the Rapids, both take you on a journey into the land full of dinosaurs. They look quite similar and take you through the same scenery so it doesn't particularly matter which you choose.
The course isn't one of those wacky type adventure golfs, each hole is mainly a putting green but it definitely tests your skills. There are small mounds, dips and corners to get your ball past before getting that allusive hole in one.
The design of the surrounding scenery looks great. The colourful river meanders around the course so you are right by gushing water for most of the holes. At one point you go into a cave which has the waterfall falling right over you and you can peep out a couple of holes in the rocks and see it falling just inches away.
The course is well maintained and tidy. However we did manage to loose two balls at the same hole as they disappeared into a tunnel and never came out.
There are plenty of photo opportunities with small dinosaurs. You cant get that close to the bigger dinosaurs but they are so cool i will forgive that fact. There is a giant smoking volcano, a waterfall and even the bins are funky dinosaurs and if you put some rubbish in your basically pitting your hand into a dinosaur's mouth. Which my youngest loved.
While you wait for your turn there are some benches dotted around and even a brand new wooden shelter for if it starts to rain. There are a few games to play too to keep the children waiting patently like a wordsearch and info boards.
It is a reasonable priced activity, we took just over an hour to play and if it is your birthday then it's even better.
It did feel a bit odd with the fact you could see the busy motorway while you played but it was actually quite interested to watch while waiting for my turn.
There was an ice cream shack and benches near to the exit but this was closed today, due to it being January.
After our game we headed into the Trafford Centre to find some lunch from one of their many restaurants.
