Cranford Cafe and Sandwich Bar is situated in the heart of Cheshire in the picturesque and historical town of Knutsford, Serving a wide range of traditional, contemporary, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free meals, ‘quick eats’, snacks and drinks to eat in or to takeaway. It is a great cafe to visit for breakfast or lunch with friends after a walk around Tatton Park or a play at Moor Park. If you are in more of a rush make use of their takeaway sandwich bar to grab a sandwich, salad or soup to eat on the go.
The menu is massive, and I was really impressed with the choice of meals on offer. It had classic sandwiches, paninis, jackets, and salads. The breakfast really stood out with a mix of traditional and alternatives, including pancakes stacks and breakfast wraps. Some of the specialty sandwiches looked epic. They had posh fish finger butty, minute steak with onions, mushrooms, and peppercorn sauce sandwich and "Hot Finger Lickin' chicken"

I personally went for their bacon, brie, and cranberry panini, which is a classic but a favourite of mine. It came with a small salad garnish, and i couldn't fault it.
Children's Menu
The children's menu was equally good with options. With breakfasts, hot mains, cold sandwiches, and salads. My daughter chose to have chicken goujons, chips, and beans. This was just the right size for her at age 9, and at £5.95 so really reasonably priced
The service was great. The lady who took our order was really friendly and went out of her way to check that we had everything we needed. The nice service, along with the great menu options, makes Cranford Cafe a really nice place to stop for lunch.
Sandwich Bar
They also have a sandwich bar on one side of the cafe, which acts as a takeaway. You can go along the deli counter and select your fillings for a sandwich or salad so you can enjoy Cranford's food even if you don't have time to sit inside. The Sandwich Bar provides all manner of food options to takeout: from breakfast sandwiches and breakfast in a box, cold sandwiches, panini, salad boxes, jacket potatoes, to soups, cakes and snacks.
You could easily visit the cafe after a walk into Tatton Park or after a play in the park at The Moor.
