BeWilderwood Cheshire
Slippery Slopes

We just spent 6 hours running around the crazy woods of BeWILDerwood. Arriving just after opening and even after that amount of time we still didn't have time to go on everything. This really is a great place for a full family day out.

Wooden decked paths lead you into the woodland and among the trees there are lots of different areas with massive wooden structures. Some with slippery slides, some with mazes to get lost in and some with brightly coloured fairy houses.

👶As long as your child is old enough to run and climb stairs then they are the perfect age for BeWILDerwood. It is the perfect place to let them play make believe, run WILD and get a bit dirty.

BeWilderwood Cheshire
Following wonky paths

The place is full of crazy words and characters. It is the home of the twiggles and the boggles who you can meet at one of the 4 shows put on through out the day. There is also Meet and Greets 3 times a day near the Tiptoe Valley.

As well as all the fabulous play equipment, there is a craft area in the Big Hat Tent which is all included in your entry. Running between 11- 4pm you could make a Hooty Twoo!

🌳All the areas within BeWILDerwood 🌳

Slippery Slopes

Whoosh down super slippery slides! Explorers must be over 92cm to whizz down our big slides. These slides are fab, you climb up lots of steps with your foot sack. Once at the top you can choose from thin slide or a racing slide where up to three people can go down together. The slippier your trousers the better, so kids in puddle suits were wizzing down compared to kids in just cotton leggings.

Storytelling stage

Make believe at the Storytelling Stage

Watch magical tales of Swampy, Mildred and friends at our fabulous outdoor theatre! This is a cute 20 minute interactive show where you can listen to a story and meet lots of fun and loveable characters. The seating is under a stretched canvas so the seating is always dry. Make sure you check the show times when you arrive. I took a photo of the list so i knew the times.

The Broken Bridge in Cheshire

Scramble up the net, brave the bridges, and whoosh down the slide at the end! This is one of the really big wood structures where our girls disappeared off into, then you would suddenly hear a squeal as they came down the slide.

BeWILDerville

Explore colourful treehouses high in the trees, but not just any treehouses... These are human-sized Twiggle houses that the Twiggles built so we could play in them, hooray! The colourful houses are super cute and this area is great for playing make believe and as they are up in the trees it's like a big adventure being up there.

Wobbly Wire Zip Lines

Whizz through the woods along the Wobbly Wires! Explorers must be over 105cm to whoosh along our zip wires. When we came to this bit it was very busy so we decided to miss this but they looked really good zip lines. There was 2 for older children and one which was perfect for toddlers as it had a swing seat to sit in so they didn't reply on holding on.

Den Building

Work together and build a Boggle-brilliant den! Perfect for learning new skills, reliving childhood memories, or even pretending to be a Twiggle. This is great for letting kids have a go. There are plenty of long sticks in this area and so they can try building their own den or add to one that someone else has been working on.

Sky Maze

A dizzy-high maze within the treetops. Can you find the 4 coloured feathers to reveal a BeWILDerwood secret? You can use your trail sheet for writing these down. The maze has lots of bridges and pathways, its a little bit tricky but lots of fun.

The Loopy Lake Walk

Start or finish your adventure along the Loopy Lake Walk where you can find Mildred, the friendliest Crocklebog, who has swam through the caves to say Yoohoo! Look out for the Boggle's boat house where Boggles come to do a spot of fishing.

Tiptoe Valley

Perfect for little legs looking for adventure, Tiptoe Valley is a fantabulous spot to let imaginations run WILD and introduce toddlers to the adventure of BeWILDerwood.

The Towering Treetop Tangles

Scramble and climb to the top of the trees in the Towering Treetop Tangles. This was our favourite bit. Its almost like an assault course with nets and ropes to wrestle with. I fell into the nets and the girls thought it was so funny. Top tip leave your backpacks full of picnic down on the floor as its quite a physical challenge and bags just get in the way.

Food & Drink

There is the Munch Bar which is the main place that serves food. They have a hot food menu with jacket potatoes, nachos, pasties and hotdogs. The Cosy Cabin is at the other side of BeWILDerwood and serves drinks, cakes and icecreams aswel as picnic food of sandwiches and children's lunch boxes.

You can also bring a picnic. you wont struggle to find as seat as there are lots of picnic tables throughout the whole site. The seats by Munch Bar also has a stretched canvas cover if the weather is a bit cold or wet.
